Army Suicide Prevention Month & World Suicide Prevention Day
The Army will observe Suicide Prevention Month during the month of September. This years's theme is "Improving our Soldiers and Families Health: A Healthy Force Combatting High Risk Behaviors".

Army Updates and Improves Sexual Assault Program
In September 2008 the Army launched its I.A.M. Strong campaign, which explains the program's philosophy and offers guidance to Soldiers on how to intervene in a sexual assault situation and actions that a soldier who has been assaulted should take.
